We will make every effort to train you in actual instrument conditions as long as it is safe to do so. Over the years Kai has become an expert in many makes and models of aircraft. From ultra-modern Cirrus to standard C172s he has accumulated IFR training experience with many configurations of equipment. We offer a Garmin 430 WAAS equipped C172 for this course.

Also offered is a 3 day prep course for the Instrument written exam.

The Commercial Course:

This course includes all CFI instruction, examiner's fee, training materials, housing and local transportation. It does NOT include food, personal entertainment or aircraft rental.

The course requires you to log 10 hours of instruction in a complex aircraft (C 172 RG available). Please contact Kai for current rental rates.

Requirements:

-  you need to have the written test taken and passed

-  you need to have logged 250 hours of flight time (50 of those can be instruction in an appropriate flight training device).

-  you need to have completed the flight experience according to FAR 61.129(a)(4)

Cost: Please call 1-877-273-3266

Duration: 3-5 days (weather permitting)

Please keep in mind that accelerated training is not for everyone. You will be training/studying 8+ hours per day for the entire duration of the course. This is hard work. It will be a very satisfying experience if you can/want to work on your rating in this fashion. People who need to take their time and work on the ratings for a longer period of time will not enjoy an accelerated course. However, we feel that an accelerated course is the best way for instrument or commercial training. We find it very important to remove the student from his or her normal everyday surroundings and place him or her in our total immersion training program. This guarantees focus and concentration on the goals.
